Someone posted,,,yes it was soupkitten, that if your chevre crumbled it isn't fresh. NOT TRUE!!!!! I make my own chevre from the goats we have and when hung to dry and opened the next morning the cheese was wonderfully crumbly....many who had it thought it was feta. Yes it can still be rolled into a log but if your chevre crumbles that doesn't mean it's not fresh. It can mean that the whey was welled drained. Make your own...so easy!!
