Chestnut puree

I was visiting an Italian gourmet market and spotted a can of chestnut puree imported from France. I also bought a chestnut spread which I will eat with desserts.
What shouuld I make with chestnut puree though? The first thing that came into my mind was mont blanc but that sounds very hard to make.
