A few weeks ago I learned that Norman is closing his restaurant in Coral Gables with no plans to reopen in South Florida (he'll still have Orlando and L.A.). Then Shin from Shoji Sushi apparently left for NYC feeling that he wasn't appreciated here. He made Shoji what it is and apparently Myles the owner thinks that he can now charge more for consistently lower quality food and presentation. And lastly, Jordi Valls (sp) the chef at Mosaico has decided to leave Miami. Let's see, we've managed to kill off La Broche, Norman's and other worthy, destination type restaurants yet Houston's is packed every night of the week. What's up with this city?!!
