Chef Cookbooks question

There seems to be two kinds of chef cookbooks: the "(Name of Restaurant) cookbook", or the "(Name of Chef) cooks at home". Personally, I like the restaurant kind, even if it's full of sub-recipes and obscure ingredients, because I look to these books more for inspiration, rather than for specific recipes. I've never gotten a famous-chef-at-home book and am curious if there are any out there worth getting. Any thoughts?
