i have read about chef allens for many years. the reviews are always good and i fianlly got to dine there myself. i thought the experinece was great. the menu has recently been changed it seems to focus on loal Florida seafood with an emphasis on sustainable. This was a treat - loved the local mixto ceviche - fresh fresh fresh - yellowtail snapper, baby conch and wild shrimp, the key limes citrus juices balalnced the heat of the scotch bonnets and the organic micro cilantro. The Stone crab sliders were excellent with the caribbean gumbo sauce. i wish i could have tried the wood grilled day boat wahoo with callaloo stew. Service was the best in miami. I'll be back soon.
