This might be a silly question:
I'm having an open-house type party in august, and am trying to serve really easy appetizer-y things, as I will be very pregnant and definitely not into extensive cooking.
I was thinking of putting out a cheese platter (among other things), but how would I keep it from getting gross if it sits out for a little bit in the warm weather? Because people will be coming and going, the party could last 5-6 hours.
Do I just put a little bit at a time, and replenish often? Or is there a way to keep it somewhat cool that I'm just overlooking?
