Not long ago some one posted looking for cheese curds in LA. I found them today at the Hollywood Farmers Market. Spring Hills Farms was making their debut and said they would now be there on a regular basis. Apparently they do farmers markets further up the coast but this is their first foray into this area. They were out of the regular curds so I got some garlic curds and they are delicious--richer and less of that rubbery squeak against my teeth than some I have had (I like both). They had other cheeses too, including a teleme that seemed more like a semi-soft than the ripe runny ones I sometimes find at La Brea Bakery.
