Yesterday in Shop and Save here in central Maine, I came upon a new display in the cheese department for "squeaky cheese". It's funny looking lumpy stuff and when I read about it I found it's the cheese curd that's used in making poutine, which has been discussed here before. Has anybody tried this at home? I know that poutine consists of gravy covered french fries with cheese curd. What sort of gravy? It's rare that I have leftover gravy just sitting around, except at Thanksgiving. pat
