Anywhere to get cheese babka (no raisins) in/around greater Boston?

jlesar | Dec 2, 201806:39 PM     8

Hi 'Hounds,

One of my colleagues is desperately seeking a source, ideally in the boston metro area, for cheese babka *without raisins* (apparently that is the crucial part that has proven difficult). The ones she's used to are Polish, but I don't know if they're also popular in another country/ethnicity's cuisine. I did see a reference on an old post to DJ's Market, but it looks like their cheese babka may come with raisins (I missed their open hours today, but I'm planning to call them to ask, as I find the website description a little unclear). Any other suggestions out there? I think she would consider anywhere within probably 60-75 min of Boston proper readily doable, but further out may not be totally out of the question.

Thanks,
JL
