6 old friends from around the country want to eat together this Saturday (Aug. 13) in Philadelphia. We'll be staying downtown (1200 Market-- for a conference) and schedules and money are tight so we need to find a quality, inexpensive, not too noisy, non-smoking place where we can reserve a table for dinner. One proposed possibility--Ernesto's 1521 Cafe--is closed all of August and I've searched in vain (over the internet) for an alternative. We're flexible (all over the map)as far as cuisine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
