I'm trying to find a fun place to host my birthday gathering this year. It needs to be cheap, good food, good booze, and a fun atmosphere. The standard has been tapas at Iberico, but that's kind of played out (Iberico, not tapas.) I love small dish cuisine (tapas, dim sum, mezze,) and I really wish there were a evening/late-night dim sum joint, complete with steam carts and mai-tais, but that seems to be kind of a hole in the chicago dining landscape. I'm at a loss - chowhounds please help!
