I'll be in Chicago for 24 hours, with no car, with a family group ranging from 82 year old (can't walk a long ways) down to 11 (pretty zippy.) We'll be staying in a hotel a block from the Art Institute. Any ideas about a cheap but tasty place to have dinner and/or lunch? I understand that Chicago has peculiar but tasty hot dogs. That might work for lunch if you'll tell us where to go. Is there a great lunch truck in Millenial Park? We will be doing the architectural boat tour down the river on morning, so the second day's lunch could be near there, before we leave. And ideas about dinner?
We like good food but are trying to do it on the cheap, so we turn to you, O Beloved Hounds.
