We go to Cape Cod every August and always stay in Chatham.
We liked Vinings and ate there several times over the years when it was still upstairs. Food and service were always good. A couple of years ago, they moved downstairs and changed the name the Bistro on Main. Of course, we tried it. The food was good, but the service was bad enough that we haven't been back.
Last year, we tried Bluefins. We really enjoyed the food, what we got of it, but the service may literally have been the worst service we have received at any restaurant anywhere anytime. The breadth, depth and variety of incompetence was truly breathtaking.
The service at both of these places was completely out of line with what we are used to on the Cape. We were very surprised in both cases.
Anyway, I see they are both getting excellent reviews on Yelp (for what that's worth) and that people seem happy with both food and service.
Have you been to either of these places recently? How was the service? Would you go back?
