We read mostly good things about this place here and went last night on a visit to town. Fun place to be, really nice staff, and out-of-this-world mushroom salad to start. But the mains consisted of a vegetable plate that was really sort of disgusting, with wilted romaine lettuce that I wouldn't eat at home and a soggy grilled cheese sandwich far inferior to your average greasy spoon's rendition, and then a bouilliabaisse (sp?) that was not very tasty and, until we sent it back, not very warm. The waitress, who really was nice, took a glass of wine off the bill, but that left the meal only twice as costly as it should have been for this kind of experience.
Someone said something about a new chef, which may give you hope for the future.
