Charleston - Poogan's Porch for dinner

Rhonda Stanton | Aug 8, 2003 03:21 PM

Poogan's Porch on Queen, off of Meeting Street, was very good. Situated in an old home, the atmosphere is charming, and my Diver's Scallops were very good, not to mention very large - it's the first time in my life I wasn't able to finish my scallops. Sacrilege! I was so enthralled with dinner, I forgot what my friend had. The crab cake appetizer was very good. And the creamed corn was yummy, along with the other vegetables. And I had the best bisquit I've ever had in my life. (Sorry Grandma.) We were quite happy with the service as well.

Tried to go to Jestine's, but it was closed at the time.
