Hi - Just wondering if some baking pros out there can weigh in on this:
I have a recipe for carrot cake that's a big hit - but I've only ever made it in the 10.5 inch bundt pan specified in the recipe. (it bakes about 1 hour 20 min) Problem is, it makes a pretty big cake and this weekend we're a small party so I want to make a smaller one.
Is there a rule of thumb of how to alter baking time when you change the size of baking pans? I was considering using 9 inch round cake pans, or even loaf pans.
Any advice at all is greatly appreciated!!
