Champagne Shopping – Best Local Deals?

Melanie Wong | Dec 23, 200202:52 AM     9

'Tis the season for bubbly...and the finest sparkling wines come from Champagne. Real Champagne from France has become an amazing value in the post-Y2K era - excellent quality in recent vintages and many good choices with prices below $30. Selections are best this time of year and several local retailers are offering price promotions. Some recent recs can be found in the chowlinks listed below. I'd add to those the specials at Weimax in Burlingame (which will be open on Christmas Day for last minute shoppers).

Anyone have any others?
