Does central/eastern europe have decent grub?

Mr. Taster | Apr 29, 2005 04:48 PM

Hello international 'hounds

I'll be eating my way from London to Brussels, then on to central/eastern cities of Prague, Krakow, Warsaw, Vilnius and Riga (possibly a jaunt to Kiev along the way)

I've no idea what central european food is like, though I imagine the further east you go, the more dumpling and potato-heavy things get.

Any recommendations for any of these cities? Don't worry so much about London and Brussels, though I would not turn down a decent recommendation for fantastic Indian food, which is supposedly lacking here in Los Angeles.

Thanks, hounds!
