Cedar Planks ( not @ S.M.S.)

l.g.i. | Mar 8, 200307:51 PM     5

Okay convenience is no longer King. I'm finally tired of paying Santa Monica Seafood's across the board over-pricing, for thier pre-packaged cedar planks (i've only made smoked salmon but look forward to experimenting). I'm still happy with thier fish (no plural), prices be damned. (convenience is maybe Queen but that's a whole other can of...). But, I'll have more cash to pay for thier fishies if any of the 'Hounds could recommened an EASY, non intimidating lumber yard to get untreated cedar shingles from, or how to tell said lumberperson what you want. Convenience being Queen a place in the S.M. area would be great, but greater L.A. is fine (until gas hits $3).
Thanks.
PS. Okay Lumberperson might not work so well but how is it that seafood is one word and who's going to open Santa Monica Landfood ?
