I live in Silverlake and went to Casita del Campo exactly once maybe 8 years ago. I don't recall much about what I ate, but suffice to say that I've been to places like El Coyote and El Chavo more than once in the last decade. I have heard through the grapevine that this place is actually just fine for margaritas and non-fancy Mexican fare. Am I not being fair? What is particularly good here? Is it worth a second chance? I would love to have a good, fun place in the 'hood.
