A week ago Monday, I was driving my daughter and her family through Carrollton at lunch time. She and I agreed that we didn't want a familiar fast food chain. Driving on US 27 south of downtown, we noticed Billy Bob's with a parking lot full of cars. We took one of the two parking spaces left in their parking lot and went inside with three adults and children ages 5, 7 & 9. For our needs, it was perfect. I had the Monday special of chicken fried steak, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The five year old had an adult cheeseburger, and she ate it all. The other two children had barbeque beef brisket and said it was great. My son-in-law enjoyed his chopped pork barbeque and my daughter pronounced her choice (whatever it was, poor memory is increasing) to be quite good, also.
