Well, it took 7 months, but we finally hit 400+ posts on the old thread, so I thought I'd start a new one! How's life in the low-carb kitchen these days? Things have been busy since the holidays so my cooking has been fairly simple, but tasty nonetheless. Last night was a flank steak marinated in soy sauce, Worcestershire and a touch of balsamic, then grilled. I reduced the marinade and drizzled it over the steak slices for a little extra oomph. Roasted broccoli with aged cheddar melted on it for a side dish, and a delicious one at that.
I didn't defrost anything for tonight but I have a hankering for crispy chicken thighs, so I'll probably grab BISO thighs at the market and give them a good rub with something savory. Since I'll have the oven cranked anyway, probably roasted Brussels sprouts alongside.
