Capital Seafood - better than ever

Stopped for lunch at the Rowland Heights location off Nogales in the 99 Market Mall, on our way to Palm Springs. At 1 pm, the place was jammed; I stayed in the car with the AC on with Devil Chow and his Missus because it was warming up and Partner went in for lunch. All tables full but owner gave her a spot near the front desk - she heard a neighbor order squid and said, 'I'll have that' but owner replied, which one? and recommended the house version. A huge heap of billowy lightly fried squid in a divine peppery seasoning with chunks of scallion and jalapenos or thats what it looked like. First she had a large bowl of hot and sour soup which comes with the lunch (from $4.95, the squid was $6.95), plus an enormous portion of perfect rice plus a tapioca dessert - owner packed a large size for her to take out. When she brought out the container, I asked did you get two lunches; she replied, no that's the rest of MY lunch. Portions are unbelievable. This place never fails to please.
