Capital Grille

Last night went to the Capital Grille in Chestnut Hill. Have been there approximately 4 previous times and have always been pleased but last night was a very unsatisfying experience and I don't think I will be back. I started with the Spinach Salad with warm bacon dressing, this was very average and not to be a "nitpicker" but the dressing was cold not warm. Five of us ordered steaks and three had to be sent back to be cooked properly, I ordered my Porterhouse medium rare and it came out well done; my son ordered a Filet medium rare and it came out rare and my wife ordered a Sirloin medium well and it came out medium rare. The 3 steaks were all re-cooked and my wife's still came out wrong. Eventually, they got my Porterhouse right but it's flavor and texture was again, average. The staff brought over an assorted dessert tray for our troubles; however, all and all it was a pretty disappointing experience, not exactly a chowish experience!
