Canton Express

Tonight I took a flyer a ordered from Canton Express. And in my opinion is was quite good and reasonably priced.

Here is what I had:

Crispy Duck: young duckling which is first steamed in spices to remove all fat, then deep fried until crispy. The menu says "half order" but it seemed like I got more (there were two legs). It was very tasty, a bit greasy as you would expect, and came with a nice plummy sauce. It was chopped into smallish pieces for easy finger eating. $8.50

Chow Mai Fun: Rice noodles stir fried with pork and shrimp, with a touch of curry (probably not cantonese?). The portion I was delivered was absolutely massive. The carton was exploding from the top and had to be stapled shut. It must have weighed 2-3 lbs. It was also pretty tasty, some spicy heat for sure. $7.95

Has anyone else tried Canton Express? I realize its not Chinatown, or Argyle Street, but if you live in Lakeview as I do, its pretty convenient.

Let me know other opinions.
