Canadian Honeycomb Cereal Has Changed

Bogframe | Sep 2, 201610:41 AM     70

My wife moved to New York to marry me 14 years ago. Every time one of her sisters/brothers comes to visit, they know to bring O Henry Chocolate bars, China Lily Soya sauce, Kraft Dinner and Honeycomb cereal with them because the US version SUCK in comparison and the Canadian versions are like they were in the US before they changed them. Last week we got a visit and a package. My wife sat down the next morning, poured herself a bowl of Honeycomb, took a bit and spat it out yelling "What is this horsesh*t? This stuff tastes like the American crap now!!!" I tried it and had to agree, they changed it. Where oat flour was the first ingredient before, now it's whole grain corn flour, sugar, corn flour (again) and THEN whole grain oat flour.
My lovey wife is heartbroken because the cereal she had been eating since it was introduced has been changed.
This morning I called Postfoods.ca and told them our story. The lady (Catherine) told me that there was no change. I told her not to pee in my face and tell me it's raining, then I went on and told her what I just told all of you. She said she'd look into it. Yeah. I'm sure you will. So Post changes a decades-old favourite and didn't think anyone would notice. Are we the only ones? Has anyone else noticed the change? Can we start a call-in campaign to make them change it back? What do you all think?
