Calling All East Coast Pizza Fanatics!

Hello all,

I am a pizza snob; after years of denial, I am now ready to admit it, with pride. I hail from New Haven, CT, the Mecca of Neapolitan thin crust pizza (the king of all pizzas) and home to Sally's, Pepe's, and Modern, the pizza triumvirate. While I am always willing to debate with hounds from Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Boston on the relative merits of our regional styles, the red-flag that is slice selling, the optimum level of cheese, and other important pizza issues, that it not my purpose in posting this message.

I am begging someone to tell me about the one hidden pizza joint in this city that has an authentic Neapolitan style pie- thin crust, bubbly and slightly burnt around the rim; an evenly distributed sauce with just the right tanginess and an ever so subtle sweetness; and a sane amount of cheese- i.e. not a mountain, but a thin, respectful covering. And just so you know, I have had plenty of decent pizzas in Los Angeles and walked away only slightly less than satisfied-Casa Bianca comes to mind (they claim to have thin crust, but the pie looks very Sicilian to me, and has no crust rim). What I'm looking for is the impossible! Does this place exist?
