Checked this place out last night with a friend, and thought it was worth mentioning here. Byo, cash only Italian, which there are certainly enough of in Philly, but we really enjoyed.

Manicotti (recommended by laban's review, and referred to as crepes on the menu, but that's what it was... filled with spinach and cheese and in a tomato sauce... $14)

Duck with fig sauce and fixins (Really good, ample portion, not too much fat, $21)

And for dessert, my DC ordered what LaBan referred to as one of the best tiramisu's he'd had, and loved it -- but we both agreed, the cannoli I got was possibly the best cannoli ever. It was *so* creamy and smooth and the chocolate chips were delicious but impossible to spot. I couldn't finish it. I think the desserts were $7.

I'd previously read that the main complaint of this restaurant (whose name means the Chaste Goddess, for those of you who like Bellini Aria's...) was that they don't always take reservations and that you can wait for a long time for a seat -- my reservation was taken and my table was ready when I arrived 15 minutes early. Granted, it was a Wednesday, but I think that's evidence that they are in fact obliging when their tiny little restaurant isn't already overwhelmed.

A good (and reasonably priced) place to check out.
