It is quite amusing to see how people get emotional about these postings, perhaps this will be some middle ground. In a limited way, I agree with those who think BYOB's are slightly overrated. I notice a general overuse of superlatives in Philadelphia, Django is a good restaurant, not excellent. We dont want to get into word games but all these words are relative to the tastes and experiences of the particular person using it. If your dining experiences are limited to philly and you have limited cooking skill, sure Django is excellent. I do agree with the posting that says they embellish the menu descriptions. The sad thing about django's menu prose is that it does not always transfer into flavour. Audrey Claire the restaurant not the person is just very ok.As a whole, the owners of Django do a good job with what they have.Those who like it do, those who dont like it dont. Some people for whatever reason, either they are cheap or cannot sense the differences in depth of flavor only like to eat in a certain price structure. They are entitled to do so.
