So i went here for the third time sat.night, have to say the way they handle the sat. night crowd is very appreciated, my guests showed up 20.min. late and the room was filled already, they kindley bought us a round and still sat us when everyone arrived, oh yeah they even offered to sit us before everyone was there which we know is unheard of in NY. Anyway to the chow...the pizzas are great if you like thin crispy crust its for you, if you like buffalo mozz. and fresh chopped tomato sauce its for you, and if you enjoy like i do so much, a smokey brick oven flavour its for you.. if not then go to lombardys, or joes, All you pizza nuts try to gage everyones pizza against your personal best, the problem with that is you never understand or try the many varieties this great city has to offer, like the best street pizza in the world, now their wild boar lasagna is incredible, braised wild boar in lasagna great pairing, ravioli very cheesy and buttery, nice flavour, but least on my list, pork chops with vinager peppers are dripping with juice i wanted to drink, the cherry peppers with them have a tangy taste witch pairs with the usually plain pork perfect,,the whole fish is the biggest i have ever seen for $24, and very tasty, i recomend getting it fillet, the apps are all really fine, the house sauce on the table is good enough to make a meal out of, and all their dessert ice creams and sorbets are great, after all those carbs you only have room for a little sweetness, all in all i love it here, the space is so unique, in the private, intamit, very cool kinda way, the wines are all around 25-45 a bottle, and for the size of the portions they give the prices seem right on track with most, sometimes restaurants appeal to people in different ways, this one appeals to me in a way that reminds me that i'm glad i live in a city with such diverse settings and tastes, like i always say "the masses are asses", so when a restaurant has to much buzzz, beee carefull..honest larry
