Butcher for bones in west burbs?

rxrfrx | Dec 10, 2004 06:21 AM

I'm looking for a good butcher, both in general and for the specific purpose of cheaply procuring pork bones (feet and ribs, ideally) and chicken carcasses for making ramen broth. I go to John Dewar if I need high-quality meat, but I'm not sure if they would have chicken carcasses. I'll call them today to check, though. Anybody have any experience buying bones from Whole Foods? Do they tend to keep these things? I'm in Waltham and anything really close would be cool.
