Busy, solid food, but not a TOTAL scene

Hey NYC Hounds!

I'm looking to compile a list of 5 or so restaurants in the 80 - 120 dollar a head range that are busy (a little scene, but not so busy you have to wait a month for a reso) and have great food/solid concept. The cuisine doesn't matter, nor does the loation.

Also, I've done some looking around on the usual suspects (i.e. citysearch) and some things I've found that "sound" like they might be in this category are: Ureña, Telepan, Hearth, Jovia....

also, some newer places would be appreciated (things less than a year old) as it can be hard to find info on places that haven't been around long.

thanks for your opinions.
