Burrito border line [Moved from LA Board]

burntwater | Jun 5, 200804:56 PM     16

Burrito confidential.
Here's the deal been living in LA for about 18 years via San Diego.

Coming from SD I'm a veteran of the carne asada burrito.
I live in Glassell Park so there's no shortage of good places to eat for Mexican food.

if you order a carne asada burrito in SD it come like this...
Carne asada, onions, cilantro and guacamole.

If you order a Carne asada in LA it come carne asada rice, beans, onion and cilantro.

I've been trying to figure out why and where the cut off is for the different recipe.
It appears to happen somewhere in the Orange curtain.

I've ordered Burritos South of OC and it comes SD style slightly North of OC it comes LA style.

Any insights are welcome.
