What are some of your interesting food experiences? I've experienced the gamut of gourmet foodiness at this wonderfully weird festival in the desert. Some camps hire gourmet chefs to create meals from stocks kept in dry ice. Or, there are those guys who bring fresh (and self-caught) tuna and salmon (kept on ice all week) and have exclusive sushi nights. Have you ever had pizza delivered from that camp that sets up wood-fired stoves? Me, I always camp with Foodlab, with their portable generator-powered chef-sized freezers. My favorite is always their infamous "luftwaffle" day. I also love that guy at Gigsville who is always wearing a female leiderhosen (well, the version with a skirt), and slaves over that giant BBQ. Those are some of the best sausages I've ever had.
Anyone else have foodie experiences to share? (And please, no drug references, thanks.)
