I did read older messages about the pizza in Buffalo and I am still searching for pizza that rivals Emilios on Long Island.
Basically, I am looking for two things:
1) decent thin crust "NYC" style pizza. La Nova's is so-so. close but the crust is still spongy. Fresh cheese would be a bonus
2) decent sicilian. Not just "thick crust" but the crispy stuff I loved at Emilios.
Is it really the water that makes NYC pizza better? I found the biggest disappointment to be the crust time and time again.
I would love to hear if there are any newer places that may have what I am looking for....THANKS!
