Buenos Aires seafood, Italian & puertas cerradas (10 nights)

Hello, happy 2012.
We are headed to Buenos Aires in late Jan for 10 nights. Have rented apt. in Palermo Soho, on Uriarte & Guatemala.
There are definitely opinions on parillas, or steak houses, and we have guide books as well.
However, wanted Chowhounds to help me on a couple of things non-steak related:
1) For first night, after long travel, what's best resto near Uriarte & Guatemala, for a first night Buenos Aires experience? (Parilla wud be probably good idea)
2) Lots on Chowhound about steak in BA, but wondering, what are the top 3 or 4 Italian places in BA, mostly mid-priced (let's say dinner for 2 with wine at US75 to 90). Is pizza as big in BA as some guide books make it out to be? Sounds like good cheap lunch option if so?
3) Seafood. Told it is abundant. What seafood places, maybe 3 or 4 recommended? Am told 2 such places are Jangada on Bonpland, & Dora in the Retiro.
4) Puertas Cerradas. Is there one or two that stand out above the rest? I know about Casa Mun & Salt Shaker. What about Coupage, Felix, Corrinne & Paul?

Appreciate any feed back. Gracias.
