Looking for Buckthorn Jam

Cathy | Mar 24, 2005 08:10 AM

Does anyone know of a store or supplier in the Toronto area where I can get buckthorn jam (also known as sea buckthorn jam)?

It looks kinda like apricot jam, with a mild taste and is said to be packed with vitamins. We picked up a jar of it last year in Finland but it's also available elsewhere in Europe.

I've tried The Finnish Place on Yonge Street as well as Nordic Deli in Leaside, but no luck. The Big Carrot carries dried buckthorn berries but no jam.
