Stopped into Lineage on a whim for brunch, and did not love it. A pressed ham and cheese sandwich was so overstuffed that the cheese did not melt. A steak and egg dish was spoiled when the server or kitchen forgot the side of toast (which I'd had to order separately, as the dish came, oddly, only with the same mediocre frites that accompanied the sandwich). That meant my poached eggs were stone cold by the time the toast came out.
Add an unimpressive Bloody and a passable filter coffee, and we found ourselves paying an over $40 tab. Rats! Should've gotten Thai or Vietnamese nearby instead. I didn't much like that dining room in its more flattering evening lighting; in daylight, it's a rather ugly room.
