brunch in irvine?

wow i'm a dog | Apr 11, 2006 05:55 PM

i'm looking for a spot in irvine for a special occasion sunday brunch for about 30-40 people (kids included), preferably indoors.

we've already investigated and had to cross off a few spots from the list due to various reasons: waters, ruby's, il fornaio, mimi's, sam woo.

the preference would be for a "waters" feel i think. the hosts need to have the restaurant located in irvine and the restaurant must take reservations. as you can tell, they are open to a variety of cuisine. they would go with dim sum, but they don't like any of the places in irvine.

i found a couple of other options to present, but don't know anything about them:
* lucca cafe
* vessia ( )

thoughts? ideas?
