had a barbecue jones last night (must be the weather) and understood that this was one of the places to try based on reading this board.
i have to say aside from the collard greens and bottled Heineken, the ribs were awful.
i had the try two platter (northern and rubbed) and both were bad.
the rubbed were dry and the northern were fatty, lacking any real flavor.
i have made MUCH better barbecue on a mini Webber. the ribs tasted like no care or pride had been afforded.
on my way i noticed nancy lee's pig heaven -what's the word?
i also noticed how different the UES is from downtown -i felt like an outsider.
