My mother brined a huge turkey (wrapped in a bag with brine) and seeped it outside in more brine in a huge vat...but then left it out of the fridge overnight.
I found the vat on the counter this morning.
This would be a huge waste if we had to throw it out :( The marinade seems to be quite strong, when I open it up I can smell the onion/garlic/etc. blasting in my face. Do we have to throw it out? She thinks the brine would've helped preserve it longer despite it not being in the fridge..
