On the Bridge Cafe - Japantown S.F.

Heather Low Choy | Jun 19, 200106:19 AM     4

There's an odd but fantastic cafe in San Francisco's Japantown - the "On the Bridge Cafe". Appropriately named because it is on a bridge walkway between two Japantown shopping complexes. Serves unusual Japanese-western dishes, specialising in pasta and curry. Found the cafe just before returning to Australia, so ate there only once. Went with the natto spaghetti, which was sensational. I'm wondering, is anyone on this board a regular at On the Bridge? I'd love a recipe for the natto spag, and also for the custom XXX veggie curry with natto and whole roasted garlic cloves. Chef probably won't part with the recipe, but I thought I'd ask, in the unlikely event.

Best regards, Heather Low Choy
