Given there's been a lot of discussion lately about hybrid cookware, I thought I'd check again whether anyone has tried any of the Breville Thermal Pro SS cookware made by Meyer in Thailand for the U.S. market. Overall it looks as though it would work beautifully on induction – the pot/pan bottoms even suggest it's been "optimized" for induction, although that could simply be marketing. Here is the product listing on Breville's website: https://www.breville.com/us/en/produc...

Right now Amazon.com is selling a 10-piece set for $339, which might constitute good value: https://www.amazon.com/Breville-32064...

It's not entirely clear from Amazon's listing, but according to Breville this set includes the following: 1.5 qt saucepan, 3 qt saucepan, 8 qt stockpot, 8.5" fry pan, 10" fry pan, and 3.5 qt sauté pan.

The exteriors are mirror polished while the interiors are satined. They have rolled lips for easy pouring, and volume markings, as well. They're even listed on the Breville website as being dishwasher-safe, despite having a bit of exposed aluminum along the rim.

Finally, the handles look terrible, and some reviews indicate that they are indeed incredibly slippery when trying to tilt the pans.

Anyway, if you've purchased or tried any of these pieces, I'd be curious to know your impressions. Thanks!
