It's always nice to see recognition and compliments paid to favorite restaurants (Carman's, Morning Glory), and i really really love breakfast, traditional and otherwise. And i know that they don't have unlimited space to talk up every single restaurant that fits a certain criteria. But...several places came to mind immediately that fit the "unusual" category and could have been mentioned. (None of which are the Silver Diner.)

Which got me thinking of all the great places to eat breakfast that go beyond the standard eggs-over-easy with toast and a side-of-bacon fare...chime in with your own favorites.

*Sabrina's (right in-between Carman's and Morning Glory -- how'd that get skipped?)
*Taquiera la Veracruzana (opens at 7 a.m. every morning!) serves breakfast.
*Where Else Cafe -- that dish they do w/the spinach and the eggs sorta-benedict on Cuban toast is one of my all-time favorites.

Not to mention all the upscale places that do brunch every weekend...
