Does anyone have a suggestion for finding tasty breaded tenderloin sandwiches in the Twin Cities?
Also, there used to be a chain called Kings, in Des Moines, IA, that made a sandwich called "Cheese Frenchee." It was white bread with mayo and cheese inside, batter-dipped and deep fat fried! A poor man's Monte Cristo (sp)?
Can a facsimile of that sandwich be found here?
I'm in the mood to harden some arteries. :-)
