The Cakery, a new bakery in the Albertsons plaza on Foothill. I had a pain au chocolat this morning
delicious, buttery and flaky with just enough chocolate. What a treat.
I also bought a loaf of multigrain, which I have high hopes for. The other pastries they were sampling, including a cinnamony croissant twist, were quite good.
Theyve been open for three days. This could be my closer-to-home option for when I cant make it to Utopia on Broad or out to Third Street Bakery in Baywood on one of the two days a week hes open.
