Is there nothing better than this bread hot from the oven? These loaves were a smashing success. Mixing and kneading are not difficult at all. And I can imagine I'd feel unnecessary with the KitchenAid I'm coveting. Most of bread making seems to be waiting around. But the results so far, have been worth the wait. I'm going to try rosemary bread next.
Question about storage? How to? Uncut loaves and cut loaves. Plastic wrap seems to soften the crust of the half of a loaf of italian I had left over from the loaves I baked. It also seemed to impart a weird flavor to the bread. Thanks so much for all your advice.
I know, I need the KitchenAid now....... especially with a cookie party coming up.
