I just finished writing Chownews for San Fransico (what greater torture is there, doing summaries of food action in a city you're not.) And there are loving descriptions of Brazilian stuff:
Brazilian pizzas, with toppings like sausage and green olive and cream cheese; and bananas and condensed milk.
Brazilian snacks, like Brazilian falafel stuffed with cream cheese, and deep fried meatballs.
Brazilian juices, like cashew juices and cocoa juices.
Can this be had anywhere in this town?
Also, I remember, long ago, a posting about a market in... Culver City? A Brazilian market that had a good sandwich shop attached, with fried meat sandwiches and stuff.
