We had an excellent meal at Bravo in the Museum of Fine Arts Friday night. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. We ate roast eggplant soup and mushroom tart for appetizers and spicy short ribs, and a cod dish for dinner ($20-$25? range). The only bad note was an overdone duck breast.
Service was friendly and their room is lovely. This is well worth it to be a destination restaurant. They also offer free parking in their garage.
However we also saw the Gaugin show which was fabulous. It is a great date place, too, as it was quiet with a piano player providing very pleasant background music.
It is really exciting to enjoy Boston's gifts by dining in a very good restaurant in a lovely room with fine art all around. I believe it is also open on Saturday evenings.
