Brasa Brasil Grill and lower prices

CulverJack | Feb 13, 2008 11:01 PM

I ate at Brasa Brasil Grill tonight, and it was really good, as its been the few times I've been. Nice folks, good quick service and I like the room. Chicken soup tonight was good and homey, with a ton of shredded chicken. I tend to stay away from the starches, and I like getting some of the salads (potato, chopped yellow/red/green pepper, black eyed pea), beets, and then going for the meats along with it. Most of the salads need a bit of salt, but the meat is well seasoned right off the skewer. I'm a fan of the picanha, and the bacon wrapped chicken, find the garlic beef OK, and less so the tri tip.

But a really nice surprise tonight was the fact that they dropped their prices a bit - was $23, now $18 for dinner. With that, what was originally a good value becomes even a better one. They don't seem to have alcohol - I don't know if that means BYOB is by definition welcome - maybe someone else does.
